Creative Cities Consulting was formed in 2008 by Chris Miller, former Mindspring and Earthlink executive, to help communities put into action, the ideas that lead to sustainable, higher-quality economic growth by creating business and social environments that grow, create and attract innovative, knowledge-based, creative and technical entrepreneurs.

OUR MISSION
To become the leading provider of creative strategies that make communities better and dramatically improve the quality of life for their citizens.

We want to change the way the world builds communities and economies by demonstrating that a results-oriented company based on integrity and innovation, that has a passion for great ideas, can create better jobs and a more sustainable economy while delivering an exceptional value for our clients and being a force for good in local communities as well as the larger world.

OUR PRINCIPLES
*  We are collaborative & inclusive
*  We elicit ideas, not impose views
*  Our style is innovative and informal
*  We are value focused & results driven
*  Our approach is holistic & comprehensive
*  We believe in leadership-based solutions
*  Our assessments are prescriptive, not just descriptive
*  We deliver customized solutions not formulaic responses
*  We take an analytic, quantitative approach but remain human-centric

OUR CORE VALUES
We respect the individual, and believe that individuals who are treated with respect and given responsibility respond by giving their best.

We require complete honesty and integrity in everything we do.

We make commitments with care, and then live up to them. In all things, we  do what we say we are going to do.

Work is an important part of life, and it should be fun. Being a good business person does not mean being stuffy and boring.

We are frugal. We guard and conserve the company's resources with at least the same vigilance that we would use to guard and conserve our own  personal resources.

We insist on giving our best effort in everything we undertake. Furthermore, we see a huge difference between "good mistakes" (best effort, bad result)  and "bad mistakes" (sloppiness or lack of effort).

Clarity in understanding our mission, our goals, and what we expect from  each other is critical to our success.

We are believers in the Golden Rule. In all our dealings we will strive to be  friendly and courteous, as well as fair and compassionate.

We feel a sense of urgency on any matters related to our customers. We  own problems and we are always responsive. We are customer driven.

Our responsibility to the betterment of the community is paramount. We will uphold the public trust placed in us and will at all times operate to further the interests of our clients and the larger community, by only pursuing projects that result in positive outcomes for all.

We believe in the strength of diversity, the bonds of community, the role of tolerance, the importance of sustainability, and take seriously our responsibilities in fostering appropriate strategies.

(With all due credit and respect to Charles Brewer, Founder and CEO of MindSpring Enterprises, for the first 9 CV&B)
